I can't claim any mechanical on this one!!!!!! I just laid down the cover on this iconic custom. I remember seeing a powder blue Merc. at most of the rod shows when I was in H.S. It was slick and on top of the curve. EFI block, modern suspension, and a late model interior and dash. Now its got over 150K on it since then. He drives it every where, even in the snow!!!! He said "That old p.o.s., ahh, who cares." I think he likes making car people cringe at the site. It was time to loose the pastel toe tag. So, Al did all the hard work. Prepped, jammed and ready to chem wipe and blast. He asked me to walk in and paint it at his shop at home. I didn't even have to scuff & buff. He took care of that too. I went back for a few ooops, dammit touch ups! Easy cougar. No big deal. We painted a car, ate subs, and told stories. Good times!! Blueberry candy met., over aluminum fine met., with a graphite divider. Looks modern. the paint scheme caught up to the running gear.

Thanks for the opportunity Al.
